Sony Pictures’ 2024 romantic drama movie starring Blake Lively has been added to Hulu‘s library. During its theatrical run, the film grossed around $351 million worldwide against a budget of $25 million.
What Blake Lively movie is now on Hulu?
Starting today, Lively’s controversial film It Ends with Us is now available to stream on Hulu. This comes after the multi-million dollar legal dispute between Lively and director/star Justin Baldoni was finally settled out of court last May 4. Following its release, the film received an approval rating of 55% on Rotten Tomatoes, while its Popcornmeter score is higher at 87%.
Baldoni directed the film from a screenplay written by Christy Hall, based on Colleen Hoover’s bestselling 2016 novel of the same name. The cast also included Brandon Sklenar as Atlas, Jenny Slate as Alyssa, Hasan Minhaj as Marshall, and Amy Morton. It was executive-produced by Baldoni, Lively, Hoover, Steve Sarowitz, Andrew Calof, and Andrea Ajemian, with Alex Saks, Jamey Heath, and Hall producing.
“The film follows the story of Lily Bloom, a woman who overcomes a traumatic childhood to embark on a new life in Boston and chase a lifelong dream of opening her own business. A chance meeting with charming neurosurgeon Ryle Kincaid sparks an intense connection, but as the two fall deeply in love, Lily begins to see sides of Ryle that remind her of her parents’ relationship. When Lily’s first love, Atlas Corrigan, suddenly reenters her life, her relationship with Ryle is upended, and Lily realizes she must learn to rely on her own strength to make an impossible choice for her future,” reads the official synopsis.
