Baz Luhrmann’s new Elvis movie has its streaming release date set. The film titled EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert was released earlier this year in IMAX to rave reviews.

Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis Presley concert movie has set a Paramount+ release date of June 3, 2026. Following that, the documentary will start streaming on Paramount+ on July 24 in Canada.
“We found such a unique treasure trove of material and worked with Peter Jackson and the amazing team at Park Road Post Production to elevate the footage to levels never seen before,” said Luhrmann.
“The aim was to reveal Elvis in his prime, as if you were actually there. Jonathan Redmond and I set out to make something that was more than a documentary and more than a concert film and what we found along the way was simply EPiC.”
The film features long-lost footage of Presley from his Las Vegas residency spanning 1969 through the 1970s, alongside previously unseen 16mm footage from Elvis on Tour. It also includes 8mm film from the Graceland archive and previously unheard recordings.
EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert currently holds a 97% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, making it Luhrmann’s second-highest rated film. The movie originally debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2025. Following its theatrical release, the film made over $23 million worldwide, with $13.5 million coming from the U.S.
It’s Luhrmann’s second project centered around the King of Rock and Roll. Luhrmann’s 2022 feature film Elvis, starring Austin Butler as the singer, earned eight Academy Award nominations. The director’s next film will be based on Joan of Arc, starring Jenna Ortega.
EPiC: Elvis Presley In Concert is directed by Baz Luhrmann and produced by Sony Music Vision, Bazmark Films, and Authentic Studios, and distributed in the United States by NEON and in Canada by Elevation Pictures.
