Classic UK Performance Cars Hold Court at British Motor Museum

During a recent journey to the UK to report on the latest developments at Jaguar and Land Rover, the road twisted around right into the hallowed halls of the British Motor Museum. The international headquarters for Land Rover and Jaguar is less than 30 minutes away in Coventry. Combine that regional familiarity with Jag’s history in auto racing and it’s easy to see why an entire building at the British Motor Museum compound is occupied by Jaguar history.

Below you’ll find a short visual tour of the British Motor Museum and some of its more prominent Jaguar pieces — from a version of a D-Type that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans three years in a row to a more modern Jag that did everything in its power to kill James Bond.
