To get a jump on the 2015 LA Auto Show, Infiniti headed to downtown Los Angeles for a special preview event and the unveiling of its 2017 Infiniti QX30 luxury crossover.
As we’ve seen over the last couple auto show circuits, the crossover continues to be the fastest growing and most hotly contested automotive class. But, Infiniti doesn’t concern itself with most of its completion. It targets the higher end players like BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Lexus.

The 2017 Infiniti QX30 Luxury Crossover takes on the international competition with an entirely redesigned build. The crossover’s springs and rear anti-roll bar are stiffer to ensure a flat ride. The improvements to the chassis work to keep the QX30 stable and comfortable at high speeds and over a different road surfaces.
To equip the QX30 for duty beyond mere street use, Infiniti employs an intelligent all-wheel drive system. The drivetrain can send up to 50% of the engine’s power to the rear axle to maintain traction on wet or snow. If sensors detect wheel slip, braking kicks in to the slipping wheel, while torque transfers to the gripping wheel for additional stability.
The 2017 QX30 offers 2.0 liter, 208 horsepower engine with a seven-speed, dual-clutch transmission system that pre-selects gears so the next shift is always prepared.
Set to arrive in mid-2016, Infiniti will announce a final price closer to the SUV’s release date.
