World Ski & Snowboard Festival (Whistler, BC)
Happening late in the season (April April 7-16), this is one of the biggest winter draws of the whole season. There are free outdoor concerts, a demo park, film and photography contests, and loads more.
Yukon Sourdough Rendezvouz (Whitehorse, YT)
On from February 17-26, this uniquely Canadian event just kicked off and has a number of different schedules, for daytime and evening time as well as for kids. There’s everything at this wintry fest: cribbage tourneys, pub crawls, snow carving competitions, and even burlesque workshops.
