The Marina Joyce Conspiracy: Police Called to YouTuber’s Home Amid Safety Fears

Police have been called to popular fashion blogger and YouTuber Marina Joyce’s home amid fears regarding her safety. Marina, who has over 700,000 subscribers on YouTube, has posted a series of bizarre videos in recent days that have led to her fans donning tinfoil hats and trying to figure out what on Earth was going on.

Because the internet is the internet, the most reasonable assumptions have been swept under the carpet in favor of jumping to the conclusion that she is being held captive in her own home. Though Marina’s behavior certainly appears erratic in her videos, and therefore arguably worthy of it being alerted to the authorities, police have visited her home and, as far as everyone is aware, no suspicious activity has been reported. Marina herself has also insisted that she’s fine, telling fellow YouTuber Philip DeFranco that “it’s a bit confusing I think they’ve [her fans] have gone a bit wild,” adding: “I don’t do drugs and I’m not being abused either… I don’t know why they are doing this.”

The intense speculation surrounding Marina’s well-being has been the result of “evidence” found in her recent videos, with her latest video ‘DATE OUTFIT IDEAS’ revealing bruises across her arms, along with her repeating herself at various points. A rifle was also spotted in the background of one of her videos – an unusual sight considering that she lives in north London – while fans also claimed that she could be heard whispering “help me.”

Marina’s mother appeared in a video addressing her daughter’s apparent plea for help, saying that that it was actually her quietly whispering “like me” in an attempt to get her daughter to spin around for the camera as she was being filmed.

Marina later held a live steam addressing concerns about her following the police visit, insisting that she was fine. However, the stream has resulted in another deluge of conspiracy theories, with her followers suggesting that she looked “scared” during the broadcast. This entire debacle has resulted in “#SaveMarinaJoyce” trending on Twitter.

Many have theorized that Marina’s unusual behavior is a result of her being on drugs, with Sky journalist and former YouTuber Craig Dillon suggesting that these rumors are correct, tweeting: “Stop asking me about Marina Joyce, she’s had a huge drug problem for ages, we’ve all tried to help #savemarinajoyce but she won’t accept it.” What the reasoning behind the incredibly strange videos, it seems that the internet won’t stop until it’s got answers.
