Bond in Motion Brings 007 Vehicles to Covent Garden

As much as James Bond is synonymous with guns, gadgets and beautiful women, he’s identified with classic cars. While it’s true he often ends up wrecking most of them, 007 is usually rolling in some of the world’s most iconic rides as he does battle with his megalomaniacal enemies.

The Bond in Motion exhibit currently running at the London Film Museum is the single largest assembly of 007 movie vehicles in history. It was originally assembled to celebrate Bond’s 50th Anniversary before the release of the recent classic, Skyfall. The exhibit follows up on the successful Designing Bond exhibit that filled London’s Barbican Museum during the 2012 Summer Olympics.

From the submarining Lotus from The Spy Who Loved Me to the Little Nellie personal helicopter from You Only Live Twice, the real movie rides are on proud display. Of course, the Aston Martin DB5 – the most famous movie car in history — is the central star of the show.

Bond in Motion will be on location at the museum off Covent Garden until M orders the cars back into action. Tickets run £14.50.
