She is of Puerto Rican descent on her mothers side and of mostly Irish descent on her fathers side, along with English, German and French. Her nickname is Vicky.

She recalls her favorite childhood memory was growing up on Hollywood Beach and being extremely tan. Victoria Justice considered herself a tomboy.

She told Interview magazine, I was watching TV one day when I was eight years old and saw some kid doing a chip commercial. I was like, Mom, I can do that! Victoria Justice convinced her mother to take her to a South Beach modeling agency, and later, booked an Ovaltine spot and appeared in print ads for Polo Ralph Lauren and H&M.

When she was eight, Victorias family moved to Hollywood, California and she auditioned and got accepted into the theatre program at Los Angeles Millikan Performing Arts Academy. Victoria Justice graduated early from high school at 16 so she could focus on her career. Her first role was on Gilmore Girls and later The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. (Her first kiss actually was with Cole Sprouse in an episode of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.)

But it was her role on Zoey 101 that garnered her the most attention. Other roles followed, including parts in When Do We Eat?, Silver Bells, Everwood and the films Unknown and The Garden.

Victoria Justice has also segued into singing. She sang a cover of the Vanessa Carlton song A Thousand Miles. She is working on recording an album, but is taking time with the process, rather than rushing it out.

Victoria Justice admits that shes not good at cooking or being on time. She also gets a little stressed and nervous when she performs. Theres a lot of pressure going on stage in front of all these people. It really is crazy though, because as soon as I get on stage in front of the crowd all of that goes out the window and all I care about is having fun and entertaining the crowd, and making sure they have a good time (

When asked if she feels as if she missed out on her childhood, Victoria Justice said, No. Its something that I wanted to do since I was a childI went to public elementary school, public middle school, public high school, so I always kind of had a normal school life (
