Marguerite C. Moreau was born on April 25, 1977 in Riverside, California. Growing up, she attended Gage Middle School before eventually attending Vassar College. She would go on to graduate with a a bachelor's degree in political science in 1999.

When it comes to being a professional actress, it helps to live in a prime location. Since she was born and raised in California, Marguerite couldn't have asked for a better situation in getting her career off the ground. After landing two guest roles on the series "The Wonder Years" and "Brooklyn Bridge" in 1991, she was cast in her first film role in "The Might Ducks" the following year. The role is considered her breakout performance, as not only was it a huge success at the time, but also spawned two sequels in which she also starred in. Such success at a young age wound up working wonders for her acting career, as she not only continued to land TV roles on popular series such as "Boy Meets World" and "3rd Rock from the Sun," but also films like 2001's "Wet Hot American Summer." While that film may not be considered an initial success, it has become a cult classic in the years since, even spawning its own Netflix series in 2015.

Marguerite's career has continued to be steadily successful. She has gone on to star on a number of television series including "Parenthood," "Shameless, and "Grey's Anatomy," while all the while continuing to make a name for herself in films like "Queen of the Damned," "Easy," and "The Uninvited." When not onscreen, she has also performed as a member of The White Buffalo Theatre Company in Los Angeles.
