Malin Akerman has had roles in several films including "The Utopian Society," "Watchmen," "Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle," "27 Dresses" as well as appearances in TV shows such as "Entourage" and "The Comeback." When asked about her time on "The Heartbreak Kid" with Ben Stiller, she said, "The goofier I was, the better it went. In that sense, I have no pride."

When asked about her looks, she said, "I've always felt so different from how I look. I meet so many pretty girls who are like, 'Here I am! Don't you want me because I look good?' That concept is so weird to me. I want to know, 'What else do you have going on?'" (

Regarding her nude scenes, Malin Akerman told the Daily Mall, "I spent a lot of time as a child in Sweden; it's natural let's make it real in the movies."

Malin Akerman was also the lead singer of the alt-rock band, "The Petalstones," and even married her fellow musician, Robert Zincone in 2007. The band released an album in 2005, "Stung," but no major labels picked it up and the band disbanded. Malin says, "I went back to acting, but I kept my husband."

Malin Akerman says of her acting career, "It's definitively been a conscious decision to seek out roles that are different, in any way, from anything that I've done, just to prove to myself that I can do it and to challenge myself" (

Malin Akerman supports the Global Poverty Project. "After spending time in Joburg, I became aware of the issues facing people living in poverty and I wanted to come back to Africa to learn more" (

Malin announced she is expecting her first child. She speaks Swedish and English, as well as French and Spanish.
