Jennifer had a few small television roles in the early '90s, including Ferris Bueller (based on the 1986 film Ferris Bueller's Day Off), which was cancelled early on, along with her other early television roles.

In 1994, she hit the jackpot, landing the role of Rachel Green on the ever-popular hit show, Friends. Aniston remained on the show for every season, ending in 2004. She became one of the highest paid actresses, raking in $1 million per episode for the show's final two seasons.

Aniston was Emmy nominated several times for both outstanding lead actress and supporting actress for her role on Friends, winning the award for lead actress.

Shortly after Friends had its series finale, Aniston separated from her husband of five years, Brad Pitt.

Towards the end of her career with Friends, she began starring more regularly in films, especially romantic comedies, such as Along Came Polly in 2004 and The Break-Up in 2006.

Aniston has donated to a lot of charitable organizations and relief funds, mostly a big supporter for Friends of El Faro, an orphanage in Mexico.

In 2007, Aniston was listed by Forbes as one of entertainment's ten richest women.

Aniston has been quoted as saying, "I was told to avoid the business altogether because of the rejection. I guess that would be good advice for some people, but I wanted to act."

Aniston had a string of short-term relationships with the likes of Vince Vaughn and John Mayer, then she began dating Justin Theroux in 2011.

In 2012, she announced her engagement to Justin Theroux.
