Bria Murphy is an American model and actress. The daughter of actor Eddie Murphy, she has appeared in television series such as "Baby Daddy" and "The Game."
Bria Liana Murphy was born on November 18, 1989 in Sacramento, California to parents Nicole Mitchell and Eddie Murphy. The oldest of five siblings from that marriage, she was homeschooled until the ninth grade. During her time in high school, she enjoyed both volleyball and basketball, although she admits that the teams she played on weren't all that good. Considering who her father is, she was given many opportunities as a child to get better acquainted with the industry before jumping in headlong as an adult. For instance, in 2003, she collaborated with the art department on the film "Daddy Day Care" which her father starred in, contributing many of the children's drawings seen in the movie.
Speaking of drawings, while Bria's main interests in her adult life have been both her modeling and acting careers, she is also a self-professed artist. She told Maxim AU "I love to paint. It's my work and my escape. One day I want to open a gallery and show people what I can do." At least part of her artistic side can be attributed to growing up watching moves like "Alice in Wonderland," a film she claims to still be one of her favorite cartoon movie of all time.

While it was initially unclear in which direction Bria's modeling career was headed when she got her start in 2011, she expressed an interest in becoming a Victoria's Secret Angel. However, her movie star good looks eventually took her career on another path as she began booking roles on series such as "Love That Girl!," "Baby Daddy" and "The Game." By 2015, she had added films to her resume as well, booking her most high profile gig yet in the film "Drive, She Said" where she played a call girl alongside actress Ashley Tisdale.
