FX Announces 2015 Mid-Season Premiere Dates

FX’s mid-season premiers include popular mainstays as well as many new series, like Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll with Denis Leary (Rescue Me).

Created by and starring Leary, the bold new comedy headlines the mid-season lineup on FX. A single-camera comedy centered on Johnny Rock (Leary), a middle-aged rock ‘n roller who desperately wanted to be rich and famous, but so far, is zero for two. John Corbett (Sex and the City), Elizabeth Gillies (Victorious), Elaine Hendrix (Anger Management), and Robert Kelly (Louie) also star.

The FX mid-season also sees the return of the most anticipated dramas, including:

Tyrant – The story of an unassuming American family drawn into the inner workings of a turbulent Middle Eastern nation.

The Strain – The transformation has begun. It can no longer be denied – New York City is rapidly falling to an evil epidemic, and no one is coming to its rescue. Its citizens must fight or die. Dr. Ephraim Goodweather (Corey Stoll) and his unlikely allies tried to take down the embodiment of this evil – the Master (Robert Maillet) – and failed. Now, Eph and Dr. Nora Martinez (Mia Maestro) concentrate on creating a biological weapon to wipe out the creatures, while Abraham Setrakian (David Bradley) searches for an ancient book he hopes will reveal the strigoi’s entire history… and possibly a way to kill them

– Married – Russ (Nat Faxon) and Lina (Judy Greer) Bowman can barely remember what life was like before kids, debt, and suburbia rained on their romance. But every once in a while, in between the arguments about their declining sex life and who’s driving carpool, they are reminded of what drew them together in the first place – they’re best friends.
