Last year, WGN America unveiled Manhattan, a period television drama set in 1943 that followed a group of scientists as they attempted to build an ultimate weapon to end World War II.
But Manhattan isn’t just about the race to build the atomic bomb. It’s also about the families who were forced to live in a secret town in New Mexico while their spouses worked for the military. And there was more than enough drama on the homefront to fill a war.
This week, Manhattan Season 1 is out on DVD and Blu-ray. CraveOnline is proud to present an exclusive clip from the “Ground Zero: Bringing the Bomb to Screen” featurette as Rachel Brosnahan talks about her character, Abby Isaacs. Additionally, Brosnahan also mentions which character she originally wanted to portray.
Manhattan Season 1 on DVD and Blu-ray contains all 13 episodes from the first season, along with multiple behind-the-scenes featurettes and audio commentaries with the cast and crew.
WGN America will premiere Manhattan Season 2 later this year.
