Marvel Teases Post-Secret Wars Avengers

It’s a pretty safe assumption that Marvel’s publication schedule will resume its normal lineup after the Secret Wars event ends. Which means that there will always be an Avengers book, or several Avengers series in the months ahead.

Today, Marvel teased its Free Comic Book Day title, All-New, All-Different Avengers. The solicitation text promises a “ first taste of the all-new Marvel Universe as a blockbuster top secret Avengers creative team sets out on a new adventure that will have fans begging for more! Who will be Earth’s Mightiest Heroes when the dust settles from SECRET WARS? Find out here!”

The cover image was drawn by Jerome Opeña, and features the new Ms. Marvel, Kamala Khan and the female Thor alongside five other heroes who were blacked out of this picture. However, the other heroes appear to include Iron Man, the Sam Wilson Captain America and a Spider-Man… but it’s unclear which Spider-Man is being used.

Marvel did not reveal the creative team for All-New, All-Different Avengers, but Ms. Marvel writer G. Willow Wilson shot down rumors that she got the job on twitter by writing “1. Yes, Ms Marvel will continue as a solo book w/me writing. 2. I will also be writing A FORCE. 3. I will not be writing All-Different Avengers” and adding “I’m just very very happy that Kamala is taking on a life of her own and that other creators are inspired to bring her into their stories.”

If Marvel follows its previous teaser schedule, the remaining members of the All-New, All-Different Avengers will be revealed by the end of this week.
