K-State’s Court Storming Endangers Jayhawks

Bruce Weber’s Kansas State Wildcats defeated the No. 8 Kansas Jayhawks Monday night 70-63. It’s the first time K-State has defeated their rivals at home back-to-back since the early 80s. So ya, it’s a big upset.

Here is what happened. Notice towards the end of the video, you see Weber screaming at fans, trying to tear them away from opposing coach, Bill Self.

Self had this to say after the game:

Here’s another look.

And it’s hard to see, but if you look closely you can see a K-State fan trying to go after KU player Jamari Traylor.

Weber issued an apology, saying this:

The Wildcats improve to 7-9 in conference while the Jayhawks drop to 11-4, a half game up on second place Iowa State for the Big 12 title.
