Early next year, “Black Sails” will return to STARZ for a second season of pirate action on the high seas. But first, Anchor Bay Entertainment is bringing the eight episode “Black Sails” Season 1 to DVD and Blu-ray on January 6, 2015.
The three disk set will include several behind-the-scenes featurettes including Black Sails: A Look Inside, Dress To Kill, Folklore Is Finished: Pirate Politics, A Place In History and Building The Behemoth.
Anchor Bay has provided CraveOnline with an exclusive video from the Pirate Camp featurette as cast members Luke Arnold, Toby Stephens, Zach McGowan, Clara Paget and Toby Schmitz speak about their intense training regimen to look and act like a pirate with a sense of authenticity.
Stunt coordinators Grant Hulley and Franz Spilhaus and sword master Hamish MacLeod also share their thoughts on what it takes to turn actors into pirates.
“Black Sails” Season 2 will premiere on January 24, 2015 on STARZ.
