Brewers Pitcher ‘Deeply Sorry’ After Nailing Giancarlo Stanton In Face

The MLB leader in RBIs and National League home run leader Giancarlo Stanton was removed from the field on a stretcher after Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Mike Fiers slung an errant ball into his face, causing multiple forms of damage. Fractures, dental damage, and lacerations were a result, and Fiers feels “deeply sorry” and claims to “feel horrible” according to tweets midday yesterday.
