Muppets Most Wanted: Kermit the Frog Interview

Not many people know this, but when Jason took Manhattan in 1989 he actually had to take it from The Muppets. Fortunately for him, Kermit the Frog is a good sport about that and says Jason Voorhees can keep it in this CraveOnline Exclusive interview with the world’s most famous frog.

The star of Muppets Most Wanted reveals where The Muppets go between movies and how he feels about Miss Piggy doing love scenes with other actors (“relieved” would be the word he uses). Kermit the Frog also teaches William Bibbiani the right way to do “Muppet Arms” (you have to ramp up to it) and proves that he’s simply no good at throwing up gang signs.

In his latest film, Kermit takes the Muppets on a world tour, little realizing their their new promoter Dominic Badguy (Ricky Gervais) is using them as a front for a massive crimewave. He enlists the help of master criminal Constantine, a dead ringer for Kermit himself, to take our hero’s place while our poor hero suffers a case of mistaken identity and winds up in a Russian gulag ruled by an amorous Tina Fey. Will his fellow Muppets realize a switch has been made before Constantine can marry Miss Piggy? You’ll just have to watch the film, dear readers. You’ll just have to watch the film.

Muppets Most Wanted, featuring music by Bret McKenzie and starring Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, Fozzie, Sam Eagle, Constantine, Ricky Gervais, Tina Fey, Ty Burrell and a host of celebrity cameos, is now available on DVD and Blu-ray.
