Toy Story That Time Forgot is set to be this year’s biggest Christmas special, as it will reunite us with beloved Disney Pixar characters Woody, Buzz & co. as they meet a new selection of toys, the Battlesaurs.
In CraveOnline‘s Comic-Con interview with the TV movie’s head of story Derek Thompson and composer Michael Giacchino, our TV channel editor Blair Marnell asks the duo about how the idea for the Christmas special was crafted, what impact the Battlesaur’s will have on the Toy Story universe and an unlikely influence in the shape of Planet of the Apes.
Toy Story That Time Forgot will be premier on ABC on December 2nd. If you’ve got kids, get those Battlesaur action figures pre-ordered lest you want to start a Last Action Hero-esque chain of unfortunate events this holiday season.
