Dracula Untold: The First Poster is Kinda Like Batman Begins

Universal Studios has unveiled the first poster for Dracula Untold, the latest attempt to revitalize an iconic literary character by depicting their origin story in an unexpected way that explains everything we take for granted about the character. See also: Batman Begins and Hannibal Rising. Dracula Untold, directed by Gary Shore and starring Luke Evans (The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug) as Dracula, opens on October 17, 2014, and is expected to be a jumping off point for a new franchise starring history’s most famous vampire.
