Watch The New Extended Trailer For ‘24: Live Another Day’

In just a few weeks, “24” will live again as a special 12 part event miniseries on Fox.

At the end of “24” Season 8, Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) was branded a traitor and forced to go on the run from his government. “24: Live Another Day” kicks off four years later as Jack is hiding from U.S. forces in London when he learns that his former friend, President James Heller (William Devane) has been targeted for assassination.

Fox has released a brand new extended trailer for “24: Live Another Day” that has a few spoilers. But anyone who is surprised that Jack gets captured and then easily escapes really doesn’t know Jack that well.

Some of the most interesting aspects of the new trailer are the lies that CIA Agent Steve Navarro (Benjamin Bratt) and White House Chief of Staff Mark Boudreau (Tate Donovan) have come to believe about Jack. We also get our first real glimpse of Yvonne Strahovski as Kate Morgan, a CIA agent who may eventually be on Jack’s side.

But Kate isn’t on his side here.

“24: Live Another Day” will premiere on Monday, May 5 on Fox.
