VIDEO: Blues, Jets Unleash Wild NHL Fight on St. Paddy’s Day

St. Patrick's Day…down two goals with just 10 seconds left to play…sounds like the recipe for a kick-ass hockey fight, right?

And that's what we got Monday night in St. Louis when the Blues and visiting Winnipeg Jets decided to give the fans a little somethin' extra at the close of St. Louis' 3-1 victory.

As you'll see in the video posted by Crave sports site NESN, it was Winnipeg defenseman Dustin Byfuglien who got it all started.  Clearly, Byfuglien had been through a particularly aggravating night and with just seconds left on the clock, decided to recognize St. Louis' hospitality by spreading a little love of his own.

Fist-on-face kind of love.

That triggered a massive free-for-all in the Blues' zone — with practically no time left on the clock.  When it was done, nearly 100 penalty minutes were doled out to all parties.  Of course, with only one second left in the game, those 100 minutes didn't really mean a whole lot.

Check out the video above of how St. Louis spent its St. Paddy's.
