Well, we’ve never seen anything like this — and we doubt many other NHL hockey fans have either. Dodgers Stadium is going to transform on January 25 for the hockey match between the L.A. Kings and Anaheim Ducks into a veritable circus of entertainment.
In the mock-up above, posted Tuesday to Crave’s NESN, you can see the ice in the center of the field. Below it, toward home plate, there is a street hockey rink. Above and to the right, a stage where KISS and other musicians will perform and in the upper left a sprawling beach volleyball “beach.”
If nothing else has ever screamed “only in L.A.,” this does. Enjoy the spectacle, Los Angelinos.
