Earlier this year, Lance Reddick landed a guest role on FX’s “Wilfred.” But Reddick will be back on the network in 2014 with a decidedly much darker role.
Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Reddick has signed on to portray Papa Legba in “American Horror Story: Coven” during the final four episodes of the season. Papa Legba is described as the show’s “voodoo Satan” who has deep ties to Marie Laveau (Angela Bassett).
Reddick is best known for his roles in “Fringe,” “Lost” and “OZ.” He has also appeared in “CSI: Miami,” “Numb3rs,” Jonah Hex, Steve Niles’ Remains and White House Down.
According to the EW report, Reddick’s first episode of “American Horror Story: Coven” will premiere in January.
