Miley Cyrus is the top-searched term on the net in the country, Yahoo Canada announced.
Releasing its ninth annual list of top searches, Cyrus topped the list, especially after her controversial performance this year with Robin Thicke at the MTV Video Music Awards. Toronto mayor Tom Ford, BlackBerry, Kim Kardashian, and the book ”Fifty Shades of Grey,” which is being turned into a movie, were all on the list too.
According to The Canadian Press, the top news story search on Yahoo Canada was the murder of Hamilton, Ontario man Tim Bosma, and the Boston Marathon explosions were second, the selection of a new pope was third, followed by the Cleveland kidnappings and the flooding in southern Alberta.
