The always awesome Formula Drift racing series slides into the Lone Star State this weekend as the sport's top racers battle for supremacy at the Texas Motor Speedway Showdown this weekend in Fort Worth.
Right, three-time drift champion Chris Forsberg of the NOS Energy Drink Drift Team is the points leader in the 2013 Formula Drift Pro Championship standings, hanging on to a 1.5 point lead over his closest challenger Michael Essa of GSR Autosport. But of course, anything can happen this weekend as the field charge through their final faceoff before the season-ending, title-determining Final Fight race in Irwindale, CA next month.
