VIDEO: White Sox Bench Coach Tossed Before First Pitch

Baseball players and coaches have long memories. Since teams often don't meet for months in between series, slights (real or imagined) are carried like marks waiting to be washed off.

But getting thrown out before the first pitch by airing your grievances … well, that's a special kind of grudge. Crave's NESN website posted video of Chicago White Sox bench coach Mark Parent getting tossed while exchanging lineup cards Sunday against the Texas Rangers.

White Sox manager Robin Ventura said Parent had beef with umpire Jerry Layne's calls the previous night that went against the Sox. He no doubt brought the calls up and in the same conversation politely inquired about the health of Layne's parents.
