It turns out the reason James Cameron was taking so much time to give us details about his plans for sequels for Avatar is because he is planning three more movies from Pandora.
Fox released details, posted to Crave’s Collider website Thursday, that Cameron has brought four extra writers onboard to help polish his scripts. Josh Friedman (War of the Worlds), Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver (Rise of the Planet of the Apes), and Shane Salerno (Savages) are all collaborating with Cameron so he can meet the December 2016, December 2017 and December 2018 release dates.
Did we mention Cameron is trying to shoot all three movies simultaneously?
This is also the first time Cameron has shared writing credit on any movie he’s made since True Lies.
