It’s the old choice: is there peanut butter in my chocolate? Or chocolate in my peanut butter? Let’s face it though, it really doesn’t matter because the result is delicious. Maybe that’s how we should view the comments from writer David. S. Goyer this weekend at Comic Con.
“We’re actually not sure whether the title is Superman vs. Batman or Batman vs. Superman but yes, it’s–that rematch, that combination, the two guys onscreen and that’s happening.”
That was Goyer at the Superman 75th Anniversary panel, down the hall from the announcement that the sequel to Man of Steel is in pre-production, and is a crossover with the Dark Knight.
Crave’s Collider website got the news firsthand, along with the above logo for the film and a reference to the line from the Superman-Batman showdown in the Frank Miller’s classic The Dark Knight Returns.
