‘Game of Thrones’ Season 2 Episode 1 Preview Scenes

In four days, “Game of Thrones” season 2 will premiere on HBO… just in time for war to come to Westros.

After a long run of trailers, HBO has finally released preview scenes from the first episode, “The North Remembers.” And in the first clip, the series checks back in with Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke); the young woman who brought three newborn dragons into the world during the closing moments of the first season.

However, that moment of triumph appears to have been replaced by misery, as Dany encounters difficulties getting her dragons to eat while leading her people across the perilous red waste.

The second preview clip transports us beyond the Wall, where the Night’s Watch desperately seeks the truth about the emerging threat of the White Walkers. But while the brothers of the Night’s Watch have a shared purpose, Commander Mormont (James Cosmo) apparently has reason to be pissed at Jon Snow (Kit Harington) for inadvertently overstepping his position.

And finally, the third clip finds the cruel child King, Joffrey Baratheon (Jack Gleeson) celebrating his Name Day with a captive Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) when Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) unexpectedly returns to King’s Landing as the new Hand of The King.

Don’t miss “Game of Thrones” season 2, this Sunday on HBO!
