TMZ reports that Banuelos was unaware that his relationship with Hadid had come to an end. He said he learnt she was single after reading its story that also put an end to rumors linking her to Colorado project manager, Nathan Lacy, the outlet said. Sources close to the situation told TMZ that Banuelos thought he and Hadid were still dating. Hadid has not made any public statements regarding the report.
Hadid and Banuelos had been spending time together just before the breakup news. The sources said that they went together to Aspen and had a few dinners together. They also attended rodeos in Snowmass on June 29 and Silver City on July 1. TMZ obtained a photo that showed them eating together on June 29, and they also visited Kemo Sabe in Aspen on July 4.
According to TMZ, after their time in Aspen, Banuelos returned to Texas for a horse competition. Hadid then went on to visit mutual friends in another city in Colorado. The two first sparked dating rumors in October 2023. They remained on and off for more than two and a half years.
