Mandatory Laughs: The Very Best Trampoline Fails

Trampolines are fun AF. That is, until things go awry. Then they’re funny AF. We don’t know who invented these little death contraptions, but they had to know people were going to get hurt in them (perhaps that was the point?).

Trampolines are safe enough if you just jump up and down, but who wants to do that all day? That’s the stuff of ‘80s moms desperately trying to get back in shape (dig the leotard and headband combo, though).

Modern trampoline users might start off cautious, but they get bolder and bolder as time goes on, using them to execute all kinds of backflips and gravity-defying stunts. Some combine the bouncy apparatus with other toys – basketball hoops, slides – to create a daredevil’s playground. Others just add booze (what could go wrong?).

While we’ll partake in a good ol’ trampoline jumping fest from time to time (depending on who joins us and how rowdy they are), we’d never buy one ourselves and we certainly wouldn’t let our kids have a party on one. We know better. We’d much rather keep our feet on the ground and watch everyone else irreparably damage their bodies and suffer brain damage. And if there isn’t a trampoline stan in our neighborhood, we’ll turn to the internet for this kind of entertainment.
