We don’t know about you, but we’ve heard quite enough about Elon Musk for one year. From his space adventures to his breakup with baby mama Grimes, we know more about the Tesla CEO and SpaceX founder than we ever wanted to.
But since when has that stopped the media from pouring insane amounts of attention on a person? Never. We were reminded of this once again when Time magazine named Elon Musk its Person of the Year.

Granted, Musk joins a list that has included fellow deplorables like Donald Trump, Mark Zuckerberg, Vladimir Putin, and Adolf Hitler, so he’s in good (read: bad) company. But we still don’t think this guy deserves any more pats on the back given his egomania and history of tax evasion.
That’s OK, though, because Twitter fought back – and hilariously so. Users shared their laugh-inducing reactions to the news as well as offered up alternative People of the Year for your consideration.
