The Jungle Book | Neel Sethi Does Parkour, Doesn’t Make Fire

This week audiences will meet Neel Sethi, the young star of Disney’s The Jungle Book, who races across the wilderness with his best animal pals and wages war against a racist tiger.

It’s a staggeringly elaborate remake of the original animated classic (not to mention the latest in a very long line of Rudyard Kipling adaptations), and although it transports audiences to a faraway land Disney only transported Neel Sethi as far as Downtown Los Angeles because almost every single part of The Jungle Book was filmed on a sound stage and then brought to life in a computer.

Neel Sethi plays Mowgli in this new version of The Jungle Book, and in the following exclusive video we interview the young star about the wilds of Los Angeles county, whether or not Disney taught him how to make fire and which of the props from the film (of which there were about as many in Our Town) he brought home and framed.

The Jungle Book arrives in theaters on April 15, 2016.
