Exclusive Video| ‘Vinyl’ The Complete First Season

Earlier this year, HBO took viewers back to the ’70s music scene in Vinyl, a new drama series from Boardwalk Empire creator Terence Winter, legendary director Martin Scorsese, and rock icon Mick Jagger. And starting today, May 23, you can buy Vinyl: The Complete First Season on Digital HD!

It’s important to note that Vinyl is a drama series, but it is not without its comedic moments. To illustrate that, CraveOnline is debuting an exclusive video from Vinyl: The Complete First Season that features series star Bobby Cannavale explaining the show’s philosophy about comedy after a hilarious sequence in which his character, Richie Finestra reacts very badly to the prospect of losing his company, American Century Records. And let’s just say that it was Richie’s partners who paid the initial price for that one!

Fans will be able to purchase the Vinyl season 1 Digital HD from iTunes, Amazon Video, Google Play, Vudu, and other online outlets. But if you’re holding out for the eventual Blu-ray and DVD release, it won’t be too long. HBO is releasing the series on those formats on Tuesday, June 7.

The ‘Making Vinyl: Recreating the 70s,’ “Behind the Groove,’ and Inside the Episode featurettes will be available for both the Digital HD and physical media releases of Vinyl. But only the Vinyl DVD and Blu-ray will feature the audio commentaries by Terence Winter, Bobby Cannavale, and Olivia Wilde.

Vinyl has already been renewed by HBO, with a new season likely to drop on the network some time in 2017.
