Exclusive Video | Jason Bateman on Zootopia and Teen Wolf Too

Jason Bateman plays a fox in Disney’s new animated comedy Zootopia, but he was already an expert in playing anthropomorphic lupines. In our latest exclusive video interview with the cast and crew of Zootopia, we find out what Jason Bateman remembers about his 1987 cult classic Teen Wolf Too, and why it makes him wistful about his life choices. (It’s probably not for the reasons you think.)

We also talk to Jason Bateman about his new film, and whether or not he’s only doing it for the money. Jason Bateman also tells us a bit about the original version of Zootopia, in which his character was the protagonist instead of Ginnifer Goodwin’s, and why he thinks this new version works better.

Zootopia stars Ginnifer Goodwin (Once Upon a Time) as Judy Hopps, the first rabbit on the police force in Zootopia. A missing person case forces her to team up with Nicholas Wilde, a con artist fox voiced by Jason Bateman (Arrested Development), and challenging both of their assumptions about equality and prejudice. The film co-stars Idris Elba (Luther), Jenny Slate (Obvious Child) and Shakira, and opens in theaters on March 4, 2016!
