Take a Look at the First Trailer and Screenshots from LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens

A leaked trailer and the first batch of screenshots from the upcoming game LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens have been revealed, with Warner Bros. Interactive set to release on June 28th, 2016.

Warner Bros. Interactive announced yesterday that the publisher was going to make a “massive announcement” regarding “two of the world’s most popular entertainment brands,” but Microsoft beat them to the punch by posting a listing for the gaming on the Xbox Store, alongside a selection of screenshots featuring the likes of Rey, Finn, Poe Dameron and BB-8.

The game will allow players to take control of Rey, Finn, Poe, BB-8, Kylo Ren, Han Solo, and the rest of Episode VII‘s cast of characters, taking place across the events of the blockbuster movie, along with bridging the gap between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens.

The game will also introduce cover-based shooting mechanics to the LEGO series alongside Multi-Builds, which allows players to “use available LEGO bricks to open up new paths, then break them apart and re-build them again to open up another.”

According to a deleted listing on Amazon Italy, the game will be released on PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U and the New Nintendo 3DS.
