Watch Shia LaBeouf Watch All of Shia LaBeouf’s Movies

Former child star Shia LaBeouf may not be famous anymore (at least, that’s what he told us on a red carpet) but that doesn’t mean he won’t use his residual pop culture notoriety to put together high-concept art projects.

One of those projects involved outright plagiarizing acclaimed comic book author Daniel Clowes, and then belligerently apologizing for it. Another involved appearing on the red carpet for his film Nymphomaniac wearing a paper bag on his head emblazoned with the words “I AM NOT FAMOUS ANYMORE.” That incident was followed by “#IAMSORRY,” a six-day performance piece in which LaBeouf wept in public.

Now, he’s back, and once again he wants to make the act of watching Shia LaBeouf a piece of performance art. And since he’s obviously technically still famous, some folks might want to join him. The new work, called “#ALLMYMOVIES,” invites you to watch Shia LaBeouf as Shia LaBeouf watches all of his movies in reverse chronological order. If you’re in the area you can join him in the theater, and if not, you watch a really long close-up of his face at NewHive.com/AllMyMovies as they livestream the event.

The installation started at noon today at Angelika Film Center, 18 West Houston Street, NYC and will run for three days. So far, LaBeouf appears to be in good spirits. We expect that his eye will start involuntarily twitching about halfway through Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and that he’ll spend most of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull hiding his face, and all of Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle struggling to remember whether or not he was actually in that movie.
