Five Finger Death Punch Announced As Support Act For Black Sabbath’s Australian Tour

We’re still six months away from seeing Black Sabbath in the country for their farewell shows, but things have just been taken to another level with news that American metal gods Five Finger Death Punch will be joining them on all dates.

The band knocked Soundwave Festival for six in 2014, impressing punters with their raucous stadium-sized anthems and now they’re coming back to do it all again, albeit with a new album in hand. They have just released their sixth record Got Your Six which nabbed their highest Australian chart position ever, flying in at number three.

Earlier this year it was rumoured that the band was breaking up after an on-stage fight in Memphis, however, the band denied it and this latest tour announce proves that there’s plenty of life left in them yet.

That is not the case, however, for Black Sabbath who are adamant that this will be their final tour. The band also had plans to record one more record but apparently those have also been scrapped.

The Ozzy Osbourne-fronted legends are currently scheduled to play their final show ever in September 2016 in Phoenix. Australia will get the show a few months earlier than that in April with the band and now Five Finger Death Punch set to play five massive shows.
