In two weeks, the dead will walk again on AMC. During tonight’s episode of Fear The Walking Dead, AMC released a new 30-second trailer for The Walking Dead Season 6. And while Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and his group of survivors have found refuge within the walls of the Alexandria safe zone, they are far from safe.
It’s been a long time since Rick was the picture of mental stability. The people of Alexandria have no real concept of what Rick and his friends have gone through. The townspeople only see them as a potential threat. And it probably didn’t help matters when Rick summarily executed a man in the fifth season finale…even if it was justified.
Lennie James appeared in the very first episode of The Walking Dead as Morgan Jones, the first friend that Rick made in the new world. But now that James is series regular for the sixth season, Morgan and Rick are at odds over the future of Alexandria. And judging from the footage in the new teaser, the walls won’t be keeping the zombies out for much longer.

James isn’t the only new cast member this season. Ethan Embry will play Carter, Corey Hawkins is portraying Heath, and Merritt Wever is appearing as Dr. Denise Cloyd. The returning cast members include Danai Gurira (pictured above), Chandler Riggs, Melissa McBride, Sonequa Martin-Green, Lauren Cohan, Steven Yeun, and Norman Reedus.
The sixth season of The Walking Dead will begin on Sunday, October 11 with a 90 minute episode that will reportedly feature over 650 zombies, breaking the series’ record for the most walkers in a single episode! With those kind of odds, somebody is bound to be zombie chow by the end of the episode.
