Phoenix pop-folkers Luxxe release their new single “Cello.” The track is the newest single from their upcoming self-produced debut EP, One, slated for release this August. The single release comes in tandem with their July 24th show opening for Emarosa.

Luxxe formed in October of 2014 and consists of Seth Smades (vocals, guitar), Devon Quartullo (drums), Nullin Hasan (piano, flute) and Tracy Haddad (upright bass). After playing music in various groups for several years, Smades and Quartullo embarked their own project, adding Hasan and Haddad as flautist and bassist.
The group recently won Warped Tour’s Battle of The Bands competition, earning them a spot on the 6/23 Mesa, AZ date of the tour. They also sold out a 500 person local EP release show at the Crescent Ballroom and just announced some shows in and around Las Vegas on August 6th-8th, and are on the bill for the Arizona Alternative 93.3 show August 11th, opening up for Warner Bros. labelmates PHASES and Coasts.
