Flume Shares New Track ‘Some Minds’ Ft. Miike Snow’s Andrew Wyatt

Australian electronic wonder Flume, aka Harley Streten, has shared a tasty new track, titled Some Minds, which features guest vocals from Miike Snow’s Andrew Wyatt.

Flume premiered the track on triple j this afternoon, and also updated listeners on the progress of his highly awaited second album, the follow-up to his highly successful 2012, self-titled debut studio album. He told listeners, he’s got a wealth of new material in the vaults and will keep building on it until it’s perfect.

Since releasing his debut studio album, Flume has released a collaborative EP with Chet Faker, called Lockjaw, as well as a flurry of remixes, including his most recent re-working of Sam Smith’s mournful love ballad “Lay Me Down”.

Recently, Flume announced his departure from What So Not, his collaborative project with fellow Sydney producer Emoh Instead. The pair dropped the track “Gemini recently”, as the first taste of a their final collaborative EP, due to be released soon.

Flume’s only Australian shows for 2015 will be his upcoming performance at Vivid LIVE in May for FCX – a celebration of Sydney label Future Classic’s 10th anniversary.

He’ll then take on a tour of North America including festival stops at NYC’s Governors Ball, Bonnaroo and Las Vegas’ Electric Daisy Carnival.

Check out the new tune and its new music video, featuring Flume moving through a near-deserted Sydney Opera House, below.
