TURF, the Toronto Urban Roots Fest, has announced its first round of performers, and they include Of Monsters and Men, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Neko Case, The Avett Brothers, Cake, and UB40.
More than 45 artists will play on one of three stages from September 18-20 at Fork York. More performers will be announced next month.
TURF Earlybird Tier One 3-day passes, 3-day Front of Stage VIP passes, and 3-day VIP Plus passes go on sale on Thursday, April 23rd at noon through Ticketfly, and then at Rotate This, Soundscapes, and The Horseshoe Tavern Friday, April 24th at noon. TURF Earlybird Tier One ticket sales end on Wednesday June 10th at midnight. TURF single day lineups and tickets will be announced June 8th and on sale June 11th. The Club Bonus Series is back and will be announced in early July.
While TURF has always showcased favourite local acts, this year they are “Focusing on Toronto!”, where each of their three stages will start the day with a Greater Toronto area artist.
