Play Cards Against Humanity for Free On Smartphones, Tablets and PCs

Starting this weekend, you can play Cards Against Humanity free-of-charge on smartphones, tablets and PC.

The hugely popular adult card game will be available through the web app (which you can access right here), though it is currently down until Saturday, March 14th. The online version of the game will feature all original cards along with those featured in its five expansion packs.

The card game is being distributed online for free thanks to its Creative Common’s License, which means that it can only be made available to access on the web if it is made free to all. The game has become a party favorite since its publication back in 2011, following a successful Kickstarter campaign in which it raised $14,000, $10,000 above its $4,000 goal.

The game sees one player drawing a black card which contains either a question or a “fill in the blanks” statement. The other players must then answer the question or fill in those blanks with a white card, with the player in possession of the black card then deciding which white card featured the funniest response. The cards featured in the game range from crass to offensive, depending upon how they are used by the players. As such, it has become an incredibly popular drinking game.

Playing the game through a web app won’t exactly give you the same experience of drunkenly reading off cards describing bowel movements in graphic detail, but if you haven’t played the game yet, it will at least give you a taster of what to expect.
