Counting Crows Announce 2015 Australian Tour

The Counting Crows are bringing classic hits ‘Mr. Jones’ and ‘Big Yellow Taxi’  Down Under for a bunch of Australian theatre tour dates in April.

Counting Crows will accompany their spot on the massive 2015 Byron Bay Bluesfest bill with stops at Melbourne’s Palaid Theatre, Her Majesty’s in Adelaide, the Concert Hall in Perth and Sydney’s State Theatre.

The band is currently back on the road with a bunch of international dates across Europe and the US in support of their seventh studio album, Somewhere Under Wonderland, which peaked at No.6 on the US Billboard 200 and at 27th on the ARIA Album Chart.

“I would always be excited about a trip to New Zealand and Australia, but I think this time it’s a little closer to my heart because I got so sick last time and missed the New Zealand gigs,” frontman Adam Duritz said of the Counting Crow’s last visit to Australia as part of the 2013 Bluesfest bill. “You don’t get to travel to the other side of the world every day so I hate to miss out on any part of it.”

Fan Club pre-sale tickets are available from midday Friday, 28th November until 5pm Sunday, 30th November. Live Nation & Ticket agent pre-sales are available from midday Monday, 2st December until 5pm Tuesday, 2nd December. General public tickets will be released on Wednesday, 3rd December.
