Chemical Brothers Team With Lorde For Comeback Track ‘This Is Not a Game’

So Lorde’s taking over the world, right? In addition to being one of the more polarizing talents in music today and cornering the market on South Park parodies, she’s curating the soundtrack for the upcoming Hunger Games sequel, Mockingjay: Part One. After releasing her own cut from the album, “Yellow Flicker Beat,” the singer premiered a brand new Chemical Brothers track from the film on Zane Lowe’s BBC 1 Radio show, featuring the Kiwi chanteuse.

“This Is Not A Game” features both Miguel and Lorde on vocals, and signals the most notable return from The Chemical Brothers since the 2012 song “Theme From Velodrome,” their contribution to the London Olympics. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 soundtrack is out November 17th, while the film hits theaters on November 21st.

The dark-energy track finds the Chem duo building gigantic beats around Miguel’s glossy R&B croon and Lorde’s spidery drive-by inclusion. Don’t mind the atrociously obnoxious radio stamps on the track, which you can hear below.
