Metro Redux, the “Most Ambitious Remaster of Modern Times,” is Uncovered in New Trailer

Metro Redux has been detailed in a new gameplay trailer, which you can check out above.

The remaster collection will see Metro: 2033 and Metro: Last Light updated for the PS4 and Xbox One, along with making its way to the PC.

According to the video, the two games will run at a “rock solid” 60fps, though the resolution for both games hasn’t been confirmed by developer 4A games. However, considering that both games were visually stunning, particularly Last Light when played on PC, you should expect that this collection will be something to behold, too.

Outside of visual improvements, Metro Redux looks to improve enemy AI across both games, along with bringing Metro 2033‘s weapon handling and stealth mechanics more in line with what was seen in Last Light. 4A Games has stated that it will be “one of the most complete and ambitious ‘remasters’ of modern times”.

Metro Redux will be released on August 26th. It can either be purchased as a collection, or you can buy both games individually for $24.99 each.
