Listen: Flume Remixes Lorde’s ‘Tennis Court’

Australia and New Zealand have joined forces in the form of a new Flume remix of the Lorde single ‘Tennis Club’.

Flume has transformed the Kiwi teen sensation’s second single from a deep back beat into a spacey electro synth wave, coming good on his proposal last year to team up with the US chart topper.

The hugely popular Aussie DJ/producer debuted the track during his set at Coachella last weekend, where Lorde was also a feature on the Californian festival’s bill.

Flume is back Down Under after a run around the States, however Lorde’s 2014 Australian tour, set to kick off at a sold-out Melbourne Festival Hall on Thursday, was cancelled last week due to sickness. A rescheduled tour has yet to be announced.

“It breaks my heart to have to postpone these shows as the band and I absolutely love playing to Australian crowds, and it was not a decision we made lightly,” she said at the time. “I know I need to focus on getting better in order to perform at my best. We’ll be with you as soon as we can, Aussies.”

A big fan of mixing in Flume tracks into his sets, Flume may have some other remixes around the corner. The 22-year-old was reportedly mixing it up with Disclosure at Coachella and has recorded with Skrillex in recent months.
