Watch Broken Bells Debut ‘The Changing Lights’ in a Tiny Paris Shop

Psychedelically-tinted indie rock project Broken Bells returns Feb. 4th with a second album, After the Disco, and a beautiful Paris performance of one of the standout tracks has surfaced online. Brian Burton (better known as Danger Mouse) teams up again with The Shins’ James Mercer on the collection, a sophomore release that emphasizes crystalline production and evolved musicianship.

The duo recently appeared on an episode of La Blogothèque’s “Take Away Show” series, which features performances in unusual places. In addition to a stripped rendition of “October” from their 2010 self-titled album, they also executed an enthralling offering of “The Changing Lights” in a small shop in Paris.
